Connect a wallet

Plouto works with any EVM wallet that exposes a standard EIP-1193 provider, including Robinhood Wallet, and with WalletConnect-compatible wallets.

Before you connect

Verify you are on the right site. A cloned frontend is the cheapest attack against any protocol, and no contract can defend against it.

  • Check the domain in the address bar.
  • Cross-check the staking contract address against contract addresses and Blockscout before approving anything.
  • The interface resolves every address from the on-chain registry, so what it displays is what the registry reports. Confirm the registry address itself is the one you expect.

Steps

  1. Select Connect wallet in the navigation.
  2. Choose your wallet from the list. Injected wallets — including Robinhood Wallet — appear as a browser provider.
  3. Approve the connection request in your wallet. This grants read access to your address only; it authorises no transactions.
  4. If you are on a different network, the button changes to Switch network. Selecting it asks your wallet to move to Robinhood Chain.

Adding the network manually

If your wallet does not support programmatic network addition:

FieldValue
Network nameRobinhood Chain
RPC URLhttps://rpc.mainnet.chain.robinhood.com
Chain ID4663
Currency symbolETH
Block explorerhttps://robinhoodchain.blockscout.com

What the interface shows once connected

Network chip

Your ETH balance on Robinhood Chain, with a live indicator. If you are on the wrong chain it turns into a red Wrong network marker and staking controls are disabled.

Address

Truncated in the navigation, full and copyable on the dashboard, always linked to Blockscout.

Gas check

Before offering to sign, the interface checks you hold enough ETH for gas and shows Insufficient ETH for gas rather than letting a transaction fail.

Connecting is not approving

Connecting a wallet lets the site read your address and balances. It does not let it move anything.

Spending PLOUTO requires a separate ERC-20 approve transaction that you sign explicitly, and Plouto requests an allowance equal to the exact amount you are staking — not an unlimited approval.

Disconnecting

Select your address in the navigation and choose Disconnect. This clears the session locally. It does not revoke any ERC-20 allowance you have already granted — to do that, use your wallet's approval manager or an allowance tool.
